Reading Plyler's blog, and as many pre-season articles, interviews, letters, opinions, predictions as I can get my hands on, I'm wondering if there will ever be a time that anything Clemson will be written WITHOUT comparisons to the great, almighty Ford. Maybe, this year will take care of that. Flame away if you must, just a biased opinion from someone who thinks that it is time to move on and focus on the positives that are being created from a head coach that actually cares about the University, and doesn't consider himself bigger than Clemson. Anybody want to buy a house?
For all you want to say about Danny he led our team to unheard of success which was never done at Clemson and has yet to be repeated. He helped us show we can beat anybody it doesn't matter what we do just how we do it. He was a great rep. for Clemson for many years. With that said I love Tommy and the direction he has the football program but a coach (right or wrong) will be judged on where he leads his football team regarding wins or losses. Until Tommy can take us to the promise land Danny will be the litmus test.
