Miami's 2nd best player is out for Saturday.

Feb 15, 2017, 8:05 PM

Ja'Quan Newton has been suspended for the next three games for violation of team rules. He's a 6'2" Junior Guard averaging 15.0 ppg. Hopefully, our guys can take advantage.

Those are the breaks we need. Any updates on Mitchell?

I haven't heard anything either. Just wanted to check to see if I missed something. Need him. He's playing well.

Maybe, just maybe...we can take advantage and win one or two of these road games.

That's also good news. Need to get one of these two. Would be amazing to get both

It's Chris Clarke, who tore his ACL and is...

...out for the season. He had 8 points and led them with 6 rebounds against us in the first game coming off the bench.

Here's a break down on his importance to VT, from an article on NBCSports.

The 6-foot-6 Clarke is a key glue guy who puts up numbers all across the board for the Hokies. Clarke was averaging 11.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game as he was shooting 58 percent from the field. Clarke also brought a certain intensity with him to each game that helps give the team a lift and he’s also one of the team’s better defenders.
