Miami already has 9 commitments for 2021

May 19, 2019, 1:13 PM

A 5*, four 4*, and 4 3*. They are all from Miami or within 45 mins. With the class they are working on this year, their incredibly fertile recruiting grounds, and the crazy jump they have on 2021, The Canes could be invited to Charlotte for a beat down at the hands of the Tigers yearly.

Just a crazy note, Miami's 2021 class would currently rank 12th in 2020 according to 247 rankings.

If they have a terrible 2019 season how many of those recruits do you think will stick around and remain committed?

I bet they will have several decommitments

before signing day.

For the last decade that is how it has been with the Miami

area recruits. A commitment is basically a 50/50 proposition once they commit.

I think Diaz became their new HC, so who did they get to be the new DC?

They’ll probably fill up the transfer portal once they go on probation.

Probably not a popular or even smart opinion here, (but I’m drunk so who gives a poop)

But I wouldn’t mind seeing Miami good again. I mean, I don’t want them to be better than Clemson in anyway. But Miami had an edge that a lot of universities refused to acknowledge. That not all athletes are looking for an approved academic image. They were there to play ball. The Bamas, Gawgas, and other football first schools have been copying Miami for years. Only they haven’t been as confident in their message. Now that Clemson is producing “successful men” year in and year out, I’m confident enough to say, Miami produced “football players only” long before the SEC knew what “SEC Speed” looked like.
