hmm, seems like renegotiating a trade deal that cuts Mexican workers out even more will go a long way in making sure they stay in mexico, makes total sense. why would they come to the United State now when they just started making less money at home?

If Mexicans are working in manufacturing which is to be imported to US their min wage will be $16/hr.
What you said sounded good but it's just false. But it sounded good.

not any and all exported manufacturing. And is it really a thing at all? I thought this was interesting...
The Mexican Automotive Industry Association has been critical of requirements like the $16 rule. "There's nothing in the automotive chapter implying salary changes. There's no element in the deal itself that talks about what salaries should be paid in our country," the association's president, Eduardo Solís Sánchez, said Tuesday, according to Mexican news agency Notimex. The group declined NPR's interview request.

More importantly, what are the chances that Trump's USMCA actually passes the legislatures of the three countries? It's not even clear that he will be able to push it through Congress here.

Trump's Wall has always been a bluff

There is no way this wall will ever be built. It was always a hollow threat used to try to intimidate opponents.
Republicans had the Congress for the last two years and it wasn't built. There is no chance in hell it will be funded over the next two years.
How long is this charade going to go on?

The DOD can fund the wall as a national security issue. Stop with your "nevers" and "wont's" because it will and we do need it.

Sorry. TheRump's wall won't ever be built. If TheRump wasn't canoodling w Putin, y'all would see that the real threats to peace in the world are the Russians and North Korea. Actually, there needs to be significant legal immigration from Mexico and Central Mexico to do the farm work and light industial work in the US -- the work that US citizens won't do. (Even The W Bush -- as stupid as he was -- could see that.) And those legal young migrants would pay into the Soc Security fund, that needs funding. Or, your Soc Sec and Medicare funds will be gone.

This isn't a chicken or egg comparison.

American won't work for the low wages which illegals accept. Anyone with a high school education knows the supply/demand/wage relationship. The more mexican that cross the border the greater the supply of labor for those 'Jobs Americans won't do,' and the lower the wages will become.
If not for the illegals here doing those jobs the supply would be limited and the wage would increase enough to make attract our citizenry to them.
I appreciate that everything logical about this goes right in one ear and out the other because it doesn't fit your narrative but this economic principle is actual, factual, uninfluenced by political perspective and immutable.

You lost me at Trumptard. If all you can do is sling insults, there is zero reason to have a discussion with you.
