The one dude is blocking the other from view. Regardless, I still think it was offsides, just for the normal reason.

maybe it's just me being ""OLD"" but I can only count 10 players on the North Carolina side -- and 10 on the Clemson side ( our deep back ) would make 11 -- have they changed that rule too ??

UNC has 11 men on the field

Look at the top of the frame. The 2 UNC players are on top of each other. One guy is basically shielding the other from view. You can see 3 arms and the guy's head looks alien-like since its actually 2 helmets. If you watch the actual video, there's no questions about having all 11 men on the field. It's just the freeze frame that make your eyes bug out.

The NC guy closes to top sideline is blocking the view of the other player. No football player I know of has 3 arms lol. NC had 11 on the field.

The UNC player at the top of the pic has a double shadow - because there are 2 players there. The refs owed us a call or three. They need to stop influencing outcomes to make tail whippings like last night look like close games. Easily 50 yards in holding no-calls last night. I look forward to refs from other conferences doing the playoff games.

Every player on their own has a clear "X" of a shadow from the stadium lights.

The topmost UNC player has two "X" shadows overlapping".

There's two players there, just one is blocking the other from view.
