"For a sport to count toward Palmetto Series points, both the Gamecocks and Tigers must either play head-to-head or in the same tournament or meet. One point will be awarded for each of the following sports:
Baseball
Basketball (men’s and women’s)
Cross Country (women’s)
Diving (women’s)
Football
Golf (men’s and women’s)
Soccer (men’s and women’s)
Tennis (men’s and women’s)
Volleyball
To determine which school is awarded the Palmetto Series trophy, the winning school in each sport earns one point – one point for a volleyball win, one point for a soccer win, one point for a basketball win, etc. However, multiple match-ups may take place, which could include the post-season. In addition, each school can also earn half a point. For example, if the Gamecocks win two out of three Carolina vs. Clemson baseball games, but Clemson wins two out of three in post-season play, both teams get a half a point. One point can also be earned for each of the following:
By winning the annual food drive
By having the higher average of the fall and spring student athlete GPAs"

They might be tied with us but I guarantee they would trade their 6 points for our 6 points. Baseball, Football, and Basketball are what people remember

we've already been awarded a point for men's golf since we already beat them twice in the 3 head-head matches this school year. We haven't been awarded the point for baseball, however. I guess they're waiting to see what happens in post-season.
Baseball, Men's Tennis, and Academics are the only 3 points left to be awarded.

They won't award baseball until the post-season. We won the regular series, but if the Coots were to face us in a regional and win, both teams would get a half point.
