I asked the girl if she wanted to come over this week to have dinner and have some drinks. She told me she was social distancing. I might have been blown off. It is such an easy out now for people.

addiction to alcohol and other illicit substances? Do you not go to church? Are you emotionally unavailable?

These are some reasons that someone who is certainly not speaking from experience would go through.

no get togethers I feel obligated to attend so people won't start thinking (realizing?) I'm insane....It's been great from that standpoint.
