Keep in mind though, we haven't played a really good, talented offense for some time. Hopefully these past few games have given our defense a chance to learn and mature. Definitely reason to be encouraged.

It's very hard to tell if the defense is improved as we are playing some pitiful offenses.

we are taking,imo, more than baby steps. we still give up the big play, but not at the frequency that we did at the start of the year. we are developing talent at the dline,lb and db spots. if we can hang on to the defensive recruits we have ( rn, who knows?) we will improve on the d side exponentially.

Md scoring drives were 18 yard TD drive after muffed punt and 5 yard drive after fumble leading to FG.
