If not mistaken u can only be 5% body fat without being unhealthy. Your body needs some amount of water in the muscles. Could be wrong just thought I read that years ago

Body far

The problem with body fat measurement is that the most common procedures used are at best only estimations. To get really accurate numbers you need to do X-Ray or bio electric procedures. Therefore when you're measuring low body fat percentages an error of 0.5-1% is quite common. Also at really low levels (around 3-5%) you have almost no sub cutaneous fat and the only fat left in the body is around the vital organs therefore measuring it becomes even harder.

A lot of actors have claimed to have gone as low as 3% during their shoots for various movies and 3% is considered to be the lowest your body can go to while still putting yourself in grave danger. The best of body builders will stay around the 3-4% mark only during competitions.

No way

No way he is really 4%. That is even a stretch for the most accomplished body builders. Single digits is possible, but definitely not 4% though.

body fat percentages are rarely, if ever, to be believed. Gaining 20 lbs of muscle in an offseason without fat gain is just not going to happen. One requires a calorie surplus, while the other requires a calorie deficit.

Not to take away from Tay. He is an elite athlete and it appears he is putting in the work.

exactly

probably got that number using one of those hand-held electronic things, which aren't very accurate.

Maybe if he went to classes he could be more accurate ?***

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

Essential fat for men is 3%

So it is possible. I would still say he is 5-6% though.

Actually it is possible much depends on genetics and training. I personally played college baseball with a teammate who registered 4% body fat and he was far from unhealthy. Although this is very rare! Go Tigers

Jerry Rice played around 4.5% body fat. Not certain about the exact number for Vic Beasley, but during his senior season I believe he was around 6-8%.
