Historically, UVa has more wins, conference championships, etc. Plus UVa is a 100 times better university.

Take away 2010-2014 from South Carolina football, and they are barely .500. UVa hasn't been good for at least a decade and they still have 100 more wins.

Agree . The UVA/VT recruiting footprint includes the northeast corridor , DC , Richmond and the Tidewater region around Norfolk and Hampton Roads . Those are good recruiting areas , and two teams with good coaching hires should expect to do well .
Coots can't outrecruit Clemson/UGa and all the NC schools well enough to keep it going for a sustained period .
Heck , now the Coots will have to hold off the Citadel for lowcountry 1 and 2 Star prospects .
