In fact I'm sure the Wofford player hates he got injured.
But there was nothing wrong or dirty about that play. I would dang well hope any Clemson defender would try to push the player out of the back of the endzone as he was trying to get his feet down. No reason at all to blame the Wofford defender there.

Was just football. No way that wofford player intended to run mike into the stanchion, let alone injure him.

If he is currently a 1st Round Pick he would be foolish to return. We were all knotted up at Martavus Bryant leaving early and he did ok.
Would hope like heck for him to return but don't count on it

Had he not had a SERIOUS neck injury, I would agree. I doubt that he would remain a first rounder until he proved to pro teams that he could take a season of pounding on that neck. Just my two cents.

Can't the two uprights be suspended from the back, rendering the goalpost unnecessary? This way, players would simply be shoved underneath the suspended crossbar.

I would love that but being in that neck contraption for all that time I would think he would have some level of difficulty being able to turn his head to look for the ball. But I'm not a doctor.

Something about a fractured neck makes me think you don't want to rush this thing. I think with the severity of this injury he would need an offseason to rehab and get stronger.

The fact that DW will be here for another yr, a good oline, good RBs and good WRs returning should be enough for him to come back. But if he is a projected first rounder i can't blame him for leaving. Even Dabo says if your a projected 1st round pick then you should go ahead and leave.

Sitting back in the season that CU is going all the way! That would be something that will eat at him for a long time. I hope they release him for the NCG at least if/when we make it.
