Orangeburg area. I expect Spud to show up in my front yard in a boat any minute. And, if it keeps raining, I may NEED him to show up. Map is showing a lot of that nasty yellow/orange weather. This is one situation where Orange is not a pretty color to see. :(

Our Farm in Advance looks like Noah’s Ark but I’m grateful, it’s so much better than the Fires ?? out west or in Australia.

The pictures of the water around the football practice facilities should be expected. That use to be the river bed cut off by the dikes that made Lake Hartwell.

I just looked at some videos from SC and just can't grasp how devastating it must be down there. I was born and raised there and go back as much as possible, but I really feel for everyone in that state. I have a sister in Clemson and brothers in Laurens along with nieces and nephews. God bless you and hope everyone comes out safe.

I'm in the Pee Dee and the amount of rain we are getting is normally no issue but with the ground already saturated and water laying and no sap rising it makes for a bad situation. The wind is what makes it dangerous.

Sorry, Spud won't be able to make it he's to busy catching Flounder in the Publix parking lot. Seriously I hope no one suffers any flooding, wind or hail damage.

to be within a foot of the level of the 2015 flood down here by Sunday as the Broad and Saluda come down to us. And that could go up

I went to the Saluda River yesterday to save a deer feeder not far from the bank. Lost one last year to a lesser rain event - of course, Lake Greenwood is at its lowest point of the year and will catch some flood water before the gates have to be opened this time.
