Man for man, Florida St. was just as good as bama Sat. nite.

Mistakes & turnovers killed FSU's momentum. Bama defense was just a tad better in 2nd half to win game. FSU's offense was better than bama's.
The winner of the SEC will come down to winner of the bammer vs. Auburn game.

Not the game I saw...

Bama's DL owned FSU's OL. Bama was clearly more physical where it counted.

FSU handed 'em 11 points on a platter.***

And the refs took at least 7 away from them.

That FSU safety (Derwin James?) was the real deal

He was all over the place.

Elliot will have to account for him in the gameplan.

James will be draft shy by the time they come to TigerTown.***

FSU was just as good

if not better than Bama. Using coot logic, that is.

penalties, and in terms of impactful offensive plays of let's say 4.5 to 5 yards gained per o-play, and impactful defensive plays/stops in crucial situations, bama wins the game 40 plays to 35 overall. However, FSU's offense outplayed bama's offense 17 to 15 in terms of impactful/explosive plays.
The game was closer than the score indicated and b4 the injury with 5 minutes remaining, i think FSU looked much better than their last year's team and i'd say they held their own even with the o-line issues they have.

Doesn't matter

Sep 7, 2017, 1:40 PM

Nc state dominated scar. Gt took tenn to the woodshed. The better teams did not turn the ball over and won.

Bama, scar, tenn... won. The rest doesn't mean anything.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

Don't you mean, "The weaker teams did not turn the ball over & won"?

1.5 ypc. Bama couldn't throw much, but they did hit on a couple big plays, and they were also able to run pretty effectively picking up 173 yards on 42 carries (4.1 ypc). Total yards were fairly even, but when both teams are one-dimensional and end up with roughly the same amount of yards, I'd favor the team that can run every time over the passing team.

Also, teams making mistakes and getting beat in the special teams department against Bama is hardly anything knew. That's not merely a coincidence. It's what Bama does and they are extremely good at it. If it weren't for Hunter Renfrow they would've done it to us. We nearly lost to Bama two years in a row due to ST (2015) and a defensive TD (2016).

at the end of the day - everyone knew bama wasn't much
