Make no mistake about it...huge chance to capitalize

on the state of the MBB program and taking it to a new level. On top of a state of the art rebuilt arena, next year could see:
1) Clemson's first Lottery Pick in the NBA Draft in 20 years (edit: corrected, my apologies Sharone Wright) 2) Multiple players drafted (Holmes) (corrected) 3) Season with 20+ wins 4) Deep run in the ACC Tourney 5) NCAA Tourney selection
Talk about things that can change the perspective recruits have about Clemson. 2016/17 could be the season that starts the snowball effect.
GO TIGERS!
EDITS: I was wrong about the lottery process and one of the potential draft picks.

Yes, looks like you are right. Didn't think about the roster on ClemsonTigers.com not being updated for next year. Welp...come on Avry Holmes, don't let me down. Lol

Don't mean to burst your bubble but Sharone Wright was a lottery pick.

Sharone Wright was drafted 6th in 1994. Granted, I don't follow the NBA extremely closely...but my understanding is that the "lottery" players are the first three selected (1990-present rules).

1990–present: Weighted lottery system
In 1990, the NBA changed the format of the lottery to give the team with the worst record the best chance of landing the first pick. For the 11 non-playoff teams that season, the team with the worst record would have 11 chances (out of 66) to obtain the first pick, the second worst would have 10 chances, and so on. Similarly to the previous system, this weighted lottery system was also used only to determine the first three picks, while the rest of the teams selected in reverse order of their win-loss records.

I'm genuinely asking, so that I better understand. Above is my source.

I thought he had another year. I obviously thought a couple things that were wrong in this post. Don't let my stupidity distract you from the underlying point.

I think my mistake is that the first three go into a random pool to select. But then the remaining worst teams still get the shot at the next 11 picks (14 total).
Well, now I get it at least. Sorry guys...my bad.

Some of yall need a serious wake up call. You think a rebuilt Littlejohn will punch our ticket to the NCAA tourney?

Yes, it's clearly the arena and nothing else that we're citing as reasons for optimism next season.
You must be right though, because obviously our baseball team didn't exceed our expectations this year. Did we even make the ACC Tournament? Even if we did, I bet we have no shot at hosting a regional.

I was told I need italics earlier. Otherwise people don't realize it. Shows what they know.
