I must navigate teh interwebs myself to find the article mentioned. Yet, the important part, the songs are linked. Listening into the second song, that's an A-. If you'd just said you discovered them through some rabbit hole,it would be an A+. Or maybe just won more link.
BTW, the new Lone Bellow album, produced by your boy Dave Cobb, is out in case you mist my post.
both bands wit harmony skilz, clearly yo find is mo old's cool betta, thanks.

but that's cool. Great new band, I'll pay attention and go down that rabbit hole. I forgot the smiley face on the link thing.
Mixed feelings about Lone Bellow. Talent, intensity, and charisma galore, but a lil poppy for my taste. Which comes to the fore in their recorded music vs the live show I saw.

They transcend a lot of genres...kind of hard to pigeonhole, but I think that sound definitely appeals to our generation.

Harvester in Rocky Mount, VA a couple years ago. Reminded me of Simon and Garfunkel, only with a little modern spin.
That dude Joe Firstman does indeed have quite the resume.
There's really just so much good music going on, outside of mass radio, for popular media to keep us aware of. Even with podcasts, NPR, Public Television, etc. It just keeps getting drowned out by the drivel.

In one instance, I really like feeling like I'm in a very small, very select group of people that 'has the good stuff'...but in another instance it drives me nuts that EVERYBODY can't see it when you try to put it in front of them.
