Tua's knee, I don't think it was just cartilage

Nov 4, 2018, 12:16 AM

I think he is hiding a more serious knee injury. maybe even an ACL.

I could be wrong, he looked pretty fast on that 44 yard scramble.

I just hope he can make it to the natty vs us. I want to see us beat bama at full strength.

Im not trying to sound negative. But before the end of the season someone is gonna try and take him out.. They see that knee like it is , someone is gonna gun for that brace

Meniscus?

I never worry about full strength or not... That's a part of football. I get more worried about controversial calls that taint a victory.

The meniscus is a piece of cartilage. I had mine reattached by dr Andrews back in the day.

Cartilage is actually the worst. Usually if you tear cartilage you tear collateral ligaments and cruciate ligaments as well. Basically he might’ve tore his mcl, acl (or pcl) and meniscus

I get that. Usually you at least tear the MCL. It's really easy to tear. I could see him still running hard with a bad MCL.

I had my kneecap shattered. tore meniscus MCL and PCL.

Almost every time he is hit (which is rarely) he has an issue with it.

I was hoping LSU would've sacked him or knocked him to the ground some....not so much that he gets hurt...but to test his mettle. That OL of his, is a huge security blanket.

Can you imagine XT sacking like he did Dungy, I dont want to see anyone hurt but it would be a thing of beauty

He has damage , no doubt. Thing is you can run fine in the almost straight line, no sharp cuts, on torn ALC and other parts. He looks hurt, a defense that makes him moves laterally will test it badly. Gotta say that he is great but he is not gonna make it to the end of the year with pressure.
