MAYHEM IN DOWNTOWN BILLINGS LAST NIGHT!

Jul 25, 2020, 5:39 PM

10 snowflakes, all white, were screaming "Black Live Matter!"

Nobody cared. There may not even be black lives in Billings...

It was a major lutz.

I'd bet they love tourists as much as we love Ohians.

Billings is Anderson without the 'lectricity....

Pretty boring town, but the beef is spot on.

And if'n you can get your hands on this, buy it and enjoy...

I used to care about racism. I am done with the whole issue. BLM and the protesters have ended that for me.

In Cody I saw a standard DOT sign that said "BLM Office"

Jul 25, 2020, 6:18 PM

with a directional arrow.

Little did I know it was directing me to the Bureau of Land Management office..

LOL

I was once gravely threatened

Jul 25, 2020, 7:44 PM [ in reply to Re: MAYHEM IN DOWNTOWN BILLINGS LAST NIGHT! ]

when I was 17 years old. Summer I graduated High School...waiting to go to Navy Boot camp. Working on a survey team clearing the line of visibility when a "customer" caught me by myself and tried to recruit me for the KKK. Told him then that I did not care for the KKK and did not believe in hating a person because of skin color. He got really ugly with me but i stood my ground with him - even when his hate turned on me. Since then I have come to understand it (racism) even more deeply. I understand my feelings about it more clearly too. One way to express how i feel about it is this, In 1980 I hated the idea of burning crosses and hiding behind a hood while threatening others. I still fill the same way about racism.

People are people...some hate and some don't. Some like to express their hate while hiding behind a mask. Any mask. Which is why I will never support BLM either. Burn a cross or burn a car....it is the same hatred that fuels the fire. I have no tolerance for either. Not for the act or the person who commits the act.

I didn't run from the threat at 17 from "one of my on color." I won't run from the threat from any other either.

apparantly the KKK is much much stronger today

Jul 25, 2020, 7:48 PM

than when you were 17. Racism is at an all time high and the KKK runs the system. Well maybe just regular old racist white people run the system, but they are basically the same.

The KKK is not the source of racism

Jul 25, 2020, 8:03 PM

The KKK is not the source of racism. It is the heart of a person that spawns racism.

KKK is an equal oppurtunity hate group in that they hate everyone who is not one of them.
