Destin, St Petersburg/Tampa or Ft Meyers?
Job relocation opportunity... Been looking into it for a year or so, but may be a reality this year.
Stats:
Family of 4
Kids 14 and 10. Step Daughter starts HS this coming year.
Family income 150K
Me - big fishing enthusiast.
Her - big shopping enthusiast
Both - like a slower pace

Looked at some real estate in Niceville, FL across the water. Very high market from what I can tell, but that usually means good things.

I think Ft Meyers is the best option. Tampa is pretty terrible, unless it has changed in the past couple years.
Ft Meyers traffic can be really bad though. But that's just about anywhere these days.

Who's your favorite baseball team? St Pete/Tampa and Fort Myers will offer convenient spring training opportunities, or you'll be able to find a ticket pretty easily if they play the Rays, since nobody goes to their games.
