Not a ND fan but how do they do this to them and nothing to N.C. which had had sham classes for years. At least some one at ND was taking test they were not required at N.C. to do that.Ncaa is a joke

And yet, member institutions continue to fund the NCAA efforts. That's a head-scratcher...and waste of money.

Stop funding the NCAA, prohibit any NCAA officials from stepping foot on campus, show up to games anyway. Work with the bowls to come up with a profitable strategy that cuts the NCAA out of everything, ignoring NCAA rules, etc.
If they stop giving money and stop obeying the NCAA's orders, the NCAA goes away.
Personally, I want to see a team win their games by cheating and watch their coach use the excuse "well, UNC committed the biggest cheating scandal in college sports history and the NCAA let them walk scott free, so we are going to refuse to follow NCAA rules as well."
Imagine, you have a team like Vanderbuilt commit to straight dirty football all season, or another bottom tier team that really never goes anywhere.
Vandy comes out and puts 20 men on defense, places guys in the backfield presnap, holds WR's, stupid crap like that.
"Coach, why are your players disregarding the NCAA rules and playing unfairly?"
"Well, if UNC can have fake classes to get the top recruits to give their program an unfair advantage over the rest of college basketball, win multiple national titles under this scheme, and the NCAA totally ignore the situation, we are going to follow suit and win in our own way, NCAA be ######."
Of course, the program would get screwed, but it may prove a point.
Burn the NCAA to the ground.

Their problem was the trainer didn't cheat for non athletes as well. The UNC defense had not been made public. The line I loved was aboit the penalty not being invoked if the university had not punished the students! That must be the Alabama/UGA defense.
