Love seeing DJ Reader thrive in the NFL

The announcers are raving about his time at Clemson even talking about his career in baseball. Always loved this guy, very quiet, only a 2/3 star, and played so well here. Also I never knew he could throw a 92 mph fastball which is crazy for his size.

I knew he was good in baseball but I dont think he ever played much if any at Clemson

Took my then 6 yr old son to the local batting cages on the first Monday of February a few years ago. Walked in and heard some loud blasts that made his eyes get big. “Dad somebody’s killing it” he said.

Walked around the corner and D.J. was in one cage thumping it. D.J. and his dad spent the next 30 minutes just talking to my son and I (we were the only people there). Signing day was two days away and he was down to Clemson and Maryland. We still have the picture of D.J. and my son to this day. Hulk and Tiny ??.....

My family has been Clemson fans ever since that day and those two were so gracious to my family each time we saw him. Great man from a great family!
