Losing momentum on Booth

Jul 26, 2018, 1:01 PM

Further trend to all barns.

I get the argument on offering guys we like, our system, character, etc...

Why are we missing on these upper tier offers that seemingly favor us early?

I haven’t heard this. Where have you heard we are losing momentum here?

Also does anyone know if he plans to attend the cookout or auburn function?

Per Strelow this morning

nothing is concrete until a recruit shows up or doesn't show up but last report as of then was he and his mom was scheduled to be at the cookout

Make it idjit proof and someone will make a better idjit.

Thanks for the feedback on the cookout. I didn’t get a chance to listen to Strelow this morning but recruiting is all about following the visits. If Booth and mom show up and cookout I will feel much better considering choosing Clemson over Auburn on same day event.

We really need Booth considering the time and resources that went into this recruitment. Hopefully we can win out with the relationship and culture over the Auburn “reasons” approach.

Theoretically he could do both. Our event is Friday night, and Auburn's is Saturday.

24/7 Crystal Balls have swung over 50% to Auburn.

I wouldn’t read much into the cb the scar insider put in today. It’s going to be close either way

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

If a problem, we have had a very good (and busy) one for some time!

i still feel pretty good about Booth

Jul 26, 2018, 3:08 PM

He shows up to the Cookout with mom tomorrow and I'll feel even better. I know he plans to attend Auburn function on Saturday, but he has visited us more than any other team including Auburn. His mom loves Dabo. His sister loves Clemson. He is our Top Priority and he knows it.

The Tigers are also picking up his friend and teammate Phillips. That's gotta help.

Looks like Phillip's has confirmed he will be attending per 247. Cannot hurt to have him in Booth's ear. I think if Booth shows tomorrow with Mom and his twin sister (who loves her some KB) then PAW.

Not worried in the least bit. Mike Reed and company has proven to be great recruiters of DB talent. Defensive back is always the one position that is easiest to fill late in the recruiting cycle because there’s so many of them.

I wouldn't pay attention to the CBs. People started putting them in for him to go to Auburn after he went on a few official visits. But when he came back to visit Clemson again, he didn't receive any which doesn't make much sense to me. So I don't trust those people as much as I used to.
