Winged Foot in the third round. 13 of 14 players who have started their round are already at least one over par. Cut was six over, there is now a player at TWELVE over.

he loved watching when the conditions were the toughest because Lucas plays his best under these conditions . . . It'll be fun to see how well he does this weekend . . . Pulling hard for our Tiger!!!

On a difficult course. There’s been a few instances where the course got so hard it was “goofy”. Very good shots should be rewarded and sometimes making that shot takes a different approach. It’s fun to see players make adjustments. When a hole, particularly a green, is set up such that luck is the primary factor, then it reaches that goofy category. Just my take ....

Kind of puts a cramp on the "bomb and gouge" players and puts a premium on course management. Guys that can keep it in the fairway will have a huge advantage.
