coach! You'd think since they had such a big head start that they would have a coach already on board. Is Tanner really this bad of an AD that he couldn't get a coach locked up in 3 months? Or did he over estimate the appeal of the coot job and feel he could just select the next head coach.

Elliot was interviewed yesterday & said he felt confident coming out of it so who knows..probably between him & Muschamp.

Tanner will interview Rich Rod and Muschamp, maybe Dykes of Cal. Unless he has someone coaching this weekend most local media think he names a coach by the middle of next week. It does not sound like Fedora is interested. Smart man!

Not sure what sane coach would consider this even a decent opportunity. Two hall of fame coaches and 15 years later all they have to show is ONE trip the the SEC championship game. Not to mention the last hall of fame coach quit mid year. Only the most arrogant (enter Muschamp) would think there is opportunity at USCjr.

coaching search. How did that work out?

UGA already got their replacement within 2 days. That's how it is done.
Miami got theirs too.

Oh, maybe UsUc can get an alumni to coach them: Garcia? Tannyhill? Corey Miller? Clowney? Dan Reeves?

They should have hired Mooney Player many years ago. He would have been able to recruit all of the best players on the state.
