I don't know what that win out is.

Regular season I'd say we have a 97% of beating Wake and a 90% chance of beating SCar, so .97*.9=87.3% of winning out.

They say 64.5% to win ACCCG, .873*.645=56.3%

That's probably what they mean is to go 13-0, just have slightly different numbers than my WAG of Wake & SCar.

Win out

Nov 16, 2015, 9:48 AM

As much as I can tell, "win out" means regular season and conf championship". THe odds keep going down, as UNC keeps winning. It was something like 75% I think 10 days ago

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It wasn't 75%. That was just confusion on Tigernet

Nov 16, 2015, 11:24 AM

Our win-out % has stayed at 55% since right after we beat FSU - it was in the 30's prior to that win. The "75%" was just our chance to finish the regular season unbeaten (not including conference championship game). They were giving us like 93% to beat Cuse, 98% against Wake, and 85% against the Coots which worked out to around 77%.

We've now dropped to about 97% against Wake and 84% against USC after the Cuse game. In addition to us not playing all that well, Wake also did better than expected at ND only losing 28-7, and USC probably got a boost for only losing to Florida by 10.

Does Vegas factor ACC officiating? 'Cuse game was befuddling***

I am not a gambler, so can someone please explain to me why FSU is even listed at this point?

Not necessarily; they're just predicting who will win it all, not who will make it to the championship game.

Based on those odds, Clemson is behind both Bama and Ohio St.
