Looks like Napier is the most likely choice for the coots.

Not the BEST choice mind you, that'd be Freeze. But Freeze is too smart to go to the coots. Stoops, etc. are pipe dreams and they are too smart as well.
Napier has a history with the coots and has probably taken his current program as far as it can go.
Dabo will enjoy being Napier's daddy once again.

But if I were him and he was confident about having a year or two more success at Liberty, I'd stay and cash in a couple years from now at a more high profile school.

Liberty has long coveted (funny, given it's a Christian school) exactly what Freeze gives them and they will pay anything to keep him. AND it's something of a distraction from Jerry Junior's shenanigans.
Freeze can be the king in Lynchburg, or just another footnote in Cootlumbia. I think he's smart enough not to take it.

but for some mysterious reason last week, that's the station the radio was on when I got in the car. He was in the process of discussing the (at the time) potential coaching change and said that his sources had indicated that Freeze still had the stink of NCAA probation on him and that the coots would most likely steer away from him in spite of what media and fans were posting. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out, but that's what was on the radio Thursday evening.
