has developed two or 3 styles. I'll need to work out a sauce before I ever actually got a place opened. I like to base with V&P then add a drizzle of red most of the time. Some places get just enough sauce to see, others get more because I'm basically eating roast pork.

I've never NOT had pork at a BBQ place. In SC, that is.
In KC and Texas I had beef, and openly scowled when offered that only option.

I may do a combo plate. I had BBQ in Northern Texas one time and it was beef and not at all my favorite. It's hard to beat the good smoked pork and the sauces we have around this area of the country.

was in Pendleton on out past Woodhaven Golf Club (what an oxymoron to call that a club). They had live bluegrass/country bands and were generally only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

After they started asking if I'd graduated, it got expensive. Then I started judging competitions and it just wasn't as good anymore. Usually a fun time though, particularly if you got there a 5:30 before the ###### bad started.

It wasn't comparable to S.P. but was good, cheap, and as much as you could eat. They also had fantastic Brunswick Stew.

owners didn't know what they were getting into. I heard that Palmetto's Smokehouse bought the building and uses it as their catering headquarters.
Do you remember the Just More right beside Esso? I ate there so many times when I was a student. Good times, good times.

go walk dog at 4:45ish and it is pay day and I am saving a day in case I have to go back to Greenville for a job interview, but now I don't think I'll get an interview even though I am qualified for the job. Recruiter called me at 11:40 yesterday but I didn't feel the phone vibrate, I called back at 12:10, she was at lunch. I have not heard back sense. This makes me sad.
