Not undeserved at all and if UCF wants to win the NC then they need to join a Power 5 conference and then go undefeated.

Calm down NAT.
This isnt the first time Alabama has claimed titles they have no business owning.
In the 1980's Alabama Athletic staff member Wayne Atcheson wrote a book about Alabama football, claiming the Tide had 7 more national championships than they actually had.
Alabama thought this was a good idea and actually paid to have 7 illegitimate national championship trophies created.
In actuality, Alabama has 9 titles and is sitting behind Michigan, Notre Dame, and USC who all have 11, and is tied with Pittsburg.
2017 will be considered by the majority of the country as an illegitimate title and 2011 will always have an asterisk after Alabama was given a spot in that game which they did not deserve, and it was also found that the Alabama football team was partaking in illegal steroid use during that season.

But, If Alabama says they can claim 17 titles, Clemson can claim an additional 6 for a total of 8 which ties us with Ohio State.
