I my not-so-expert opinion, it's without question a 'Bama logo. Look at the upward curve on the left-hand end of the horizontal line, and the shorter, downward curve on the right-hand end.

I'm guessing their kid goes to Rollings Middle School of the Arts in Summerville from the decal. Sounds like a private school to me. Interesting.
