I have a few trailers I've managed to procure that I'm looking to unload, but I don't have the time to sell them in person where people can see my face or know my name...so I'm hiring it out to a patsy. I mean, SALES REPRESENTATIVE.

You didn't mention anything about base pay. So, you can come do my job 80% of the time so I can have more time to devote to my side gig. And #### ing off. It wouldn't pay anything, but I could give you Wednesdays off, and a 12 pack of the beer of your choice (as long as it doesn't exceed $12). Your lack of motivation would be a good fit for our company.

that any more. It just creates a debt that they are liable for on their balance sheets.
We drop any accrued PTO on Jan 1 and restart accruing for the year. The good part is if you use all of your PTO in January, and they fire you in March, they can't dock your check for what you used but haven't earned.
I have about 3 weeks left this year and will probably lose about 2.5 weeks on Jan 1.

Ours was changed to this probably 10 years ago. They don't like large sums of PTO like that on the books.

I go an email about 15 minutes ago that said as of Oct 1, I'm going to an unlimited "Discretionary PTO". I no longer accrue ANY PTO time. I can take as much PTO as I want!
Uh huh, SURE I can.
What this really means is that when they lay me off, I don't get any pay out.

to make up for it.
While we're here....Panoptix is cool for finding fish, mostly only effective out to a max of 60 ft (though it looks forward 200 ft). I thot it would be great looking for gators. Not so much, the times I tried to locate them with Panoptix, I didn't find nothing even though I was pretty confident I was within 40 ft. Also, had a porpoise approaching and I thot that would be cool. So I aimed it mostly forward along the path it was taking. The sucker slipped right by me in a narrow (80 ft channel, I was in the middle). And I never saw it on my screen. But if you are trying to catch crappie off a brush pile. DEADLY. Prolly also true for drop-shotting bass, great for spotting schooling fish in range. Gator hunting, not to much.
THE END.

being useful looking for schooling, feeding fish. What's amazing is when you lock onto a fish, and if you can cast accurately, you can watch the bait fall right on top of it and see it react.

Why, there were times when Jesus was right in the town square healing the sick, and there was probably some leper sitting in his recliner thinking “man, it’s too hot to go stand in line today”
In all sirrusness, does the selling of your business line mean a guaranteed end of the line? Does new biz line owner not intend to hire anyone? I got a helluva promotion that way once with a company who never would have hired me off the street, but gave me priority because I worked for an acquired company.

lot of issues with my new one. Best interior and ride on the market. I'd be more worried about a GM product. Of course, guy I work with had a 2017 F-150 Lariat that was burning a quart of oil ever 2k miles and Ford told him that was normal.
