Plus, we can Fire Batson after the excuses come out that it was too hot in the Bama summer heat for our defense with that tempo they use.

They'll have to score at least 35 to have any chance to beat us.

WE ARE NOW IN A POSITION THAT NO LOSS IS A QUALITY LOSS. I PUT US IN THE BAMA CATEGORY RECOGNITION WISE BUT NOT TROPHY WISE. OF COURSE WHO CAN SAY THEY ARE IN THAT CATEGORY.

Are you saying we are just as elite as Bama, minus the trophies?

We can probably take one "quality loss" as long as we win the ACC Championship. We have yet to see a non-conference champion make the playoffs. So not FSU.
So Auburn or Louisville

Agreed Hoss55, but only on the (possible) loss to Auburn - UNLESS Auburn 'pulls a USUC' and beats us the first game of the season, then inhales the rest of the year, going 3-9, etc. ....
I don't believe a loss to Louisville would be a 'quality loss' UNLESS they go 11-1. In which case they would probably win the ACC Atlantic, not us.

Problem with losing to FSU is no ACCCG
Mar 2, 2016, 3:34 PM
|

and if we make the ACCCG with a loss to FSU, then its likely that FSU loss wasn't "quality." The playoff committee seems to put a lot of emphasis on winning your conference.
I don't know how the 3 way tiebreakers would work if Clemson, UofL and FSU all ended with 1 loss and it was to each other.

They may lose one to someone they shouldn't, but not 2. We're far more athletic than any other teams in the conference....IMO, I hate it, but NC and NCSt are closing the gap to a degree. If it's less than 8 of the next 10, if not 9, as ACC champs I'd be surprised. JMO. It's about Fla St Women's University and CU right now, but we're slowly taking a chokehold on the conference!
