What kind of stupid headline is this?

ESPN story about Dabo narrowing the field to Morris/Fuente back in 2010 - story entitled "Justin Fuente Is The One That Got Away For Clemson's Dabo Swinney."

Makes it sound like we couldn't get Fuente, like he turned Clemson down. Once you read the story, it's accurate, but they seem to pretty frequently have inaccurate headlines in like manner.

Normally the editors write the headlines and the journalist writes the copy. Probably a case of a lazy editor who didn't read closely enough to understand the jist of the story.
