Went to get a haircut this morning, and just as I sat in the barbers chair, an elderly gentlemen walked in. He saw the Paw on my shirt, and I saw his eyes light up. You a Clemson man I see, he said. Yes sir, all in! Well, that got him going , to say the least. He said, my only son graduated from there in 1979. I have been an Iptay member for 47 years, no place on Gods earth like that place! He then told me he was shortly to be 93 years old, just could not make the trip anymore, but never missed a game on TV or radio. Said his son was in Atlanta now and had his own business, you could just see the pride in his face. As I got up to leave, I shook his hand and said Go Tigers. It got me to thinking, it is men like him, my dad, and many of your parents that helped make Clemson what it is. Name me one, one, other University on earth where you can experience to "fellowship", brotherhood, family that is Clemson! So, thank you to all of you "older" Tigers(which i am not far behind). To you younger Tigers, keep the tradition and beauty that is Clemson alive! As always, God bless!
