Not bragging. Envious is the more appropriate response.

I would envy that being my biggest stress list.

2008 SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED

2008
1) May 6 - Bought new house in May
2) Rented previous house for 1st time evar
3) July 7 - 1st kid borned
4) July 8 - tenants tried to pull some #### on me, I had to leave hospital & new daughter to go try to sort things out, groundrules laid out AGAIN, establish I wasn't in mood for boolshidt
5) Sometime shortly thereafter - Tenant-wife calls and says Tenant-husband left her and kids in the middle of the night w/ whatever $$ there was to be taken. They still owed for July, I told her you security deposit gets you to 'this day', either figure out how to stay, get a roommate, or move out. She opted to move out. Left the place a disgusting mess, unplugged the fridge w/ food still in it....furniture left behind, tires, garbage bags fulls of bud light cans, open food containers around the house. 11 years later, these are the ONLY bad tenants I've had. Took 3 months to get house rented again tho
6) July 22 - Grandmother dies. Parents, visiting to see 1st grandkid, had to cut visit short the day prior and go back to NJ/hospital
7) July 25 - MiL and I left SheGUAR on same day, alone w/ bebe. MiL back home, and me to NJ for funeral
8) Aug 20-somethingth - SheGUAR got laid off* day before she was supposed to go back to work, so new house, new baby, empty rental, income cut in half (*technically, her position was 'terminated', so they could get around FMLA stuffs)
9) Oct somethingth - finally got tenants after having to get various professionals to come do their various cleanings and repairs....however, they're only 'short-term'
Bonus 10) Jan 10 2009 - Tenants move out 11) Jan 13 2009 - I get laid off during a meeting my boss had setup a few days before to discuss a promotion/raise. He and other head honchos got together evening prior to discuss what they could afford to pay me. Turns out, they couldn't at all.
it'd be 2.5 years before either of us worked in an architecture firm. We did some freelance stuff, & took other jobs in the meantime, but it was 2.5 years of complete suckage.
I'm still not quite right from all of that

1. Losing wallet/credit card - Done it once or twice. 2. Arguing with partner - Just the entire first 10 years of marriage... less frequently these days. 3. Commute/traffic delays - Roads are clear at 5:30AM. Traffic is hell in the evening, though. 4. Losing phone - Happened a few times I guess. 5. Arriving late to work - A hand full of times a year. 6. Slow WiFi - Occasionally. Not a problem though. 7. Phone battery dying - 5 times a week. 8. Forgetting passwords - Happens sometimes. 9. Credit card fraud - Once. 10. Forgetting phone charger - Weekly 11. Losing/misplacing keys - 3 times a week. 12. Paying bills - Auto-deducted. 13. Job interviews - Not in the past 13 years. 14. Phone screen breaking - Once a year. 15. Credit card bills - N/A 16. Check engine light coming on - That beesh stays on, bruh. No sweat. 17. School loan payments - I had daddy's money. Not an issue. 18. Job security - I hope so. 19. Choosing what to wear - Work uniforms M-F. Gym shorts and belly shirt around the house. G'd up for going out in public. 20.
