Living amongst the Irish (my wife's family)

As some of you may know and most not even care, I am blessed and cursed to live approximately 30 minutes from Notre Dame campus. I'm blessed because I live in a rural little SW Michigan town that looks and acts like a Norman Rockwell painting. It is a Michigan Mayberry.

Im cursed because I am surrounded by ND and Big Blue fans. Big Blue has been quiet but the Irish are being more vocal. I go to a couple of Irish games a year - most recently this past Saturday. I have coexisted with the Irish faithful. Even shared with their victory celebrations. That peaceful coexistence ended last night.

In what appears to be a coordinated assault on my Twitter, Facebook, etc - Last night I received a plethora of evil wishes , smack talk about my Tigers, and questions about animal husbandry. My wife's family is made up of alumni and wannabe alumni. My neighbors on each side are flying their ND flags and I think they are letting their dogs poop on my yard now.

Oh I have been waiting for this time. Release the hounds!!!!
