Small, local and off beaten path on Napoleon Ave.
One of my favorites when we lived there.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

It's not in the Quarter, but "Drago's" Char-grilled oysters are THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!!

Metarie location is the original (I think).

Agreed!! Best meal we had there by far. Plus right across from 75 bar, get a French 75 as a pre gamer then walk across street for awesome dinner

Best meal I’ve ever had there as well.

Oyster’s only - go to Drago’s either in Metarie or in the Hilton downtown.

Acme or Felix for oyster bar and not a restaurant serving oysters. neither are expensive and both are classic, casual and loaded with local flavor.

Another can't miss is bbq shrimp at Mr. B's Bistro . . .

Dec 4, 2017, 12:44 PM

somma the best seafood I've ever had.

And right across the street is the Hotel Monteleone - has a carousel in the bar / the carousel IS the bar . . .

Pretty cool place to check out & lots of live music day & night.

If only getting oysters. acme is good. If anyone in your group won’t be, pass bc their other food is junk. More of a tourist trap than good payer bar.

BBQ oysters at red fish grill at the top of bourbon street are phenomenal, as well as casamento’s but they aren’t in the quarter.

Grilled oysters at ACME. Couple blocks in from Canal and just south of Bourbon. Felix's is across the street as backup if line too long
