I would bet that is what they thought about this year at the end of last season, and the one before that, and the one before that, etc. We may not be the #1 Defense in the nation next year, but I would bet there is not much drop off. BV will have us bringing it every year, and we are loaded with talent.

I thought Mike Patrick was giving unprepared sermon at a grave site. he is the worst person Clemson could have had broadcasting football game..

brad: These ESPN clowns are clueless about the games they announce. A little prep and they're "experts". The SEC network better get ready for a rude awakening next year. Their beloved SEC can't play a lick of defense and that will be their undoing!! Amen to that!

Equals MOTIVATION. BV can use this as a motivator for next year's defense, which I do not think will fall off a cliff. Offense will be so much better that defense will have more time to rest and less pressure. A drop-off, sure, probably 10 to 20%. Even so, I suspect we still keep points per game to around 21 or less. Of course Patrick is useless and even was back in the Raycom ACC days. Cunningham even more useless as a commentator. I NEVER listen to those guys and always turn down the sound when we are on TV and listen to radio. I don't care about the delay issue. It is better to not hear their garbage on the TV even if our Munson is no where close to Larry Munson!
