Likelihood of Orange taking Clemson (1 or 2 losses)

if FSU goes to MNC. Is that Orange as tied into the ACC as the Rose Bowl is to Pac12/Big10 series or will they just select the most attractive team available to replace FSU?

If FSU goes to the NC(and it's looking more likely they are)then Clemson,as the highest BCS school from the ACC should get the Orange. However Clemson probably needs to win out in it's three remaining games to go.
A loss to Tech( a conference game)really derails the Orange,but a loss to the coots would probably send us back to the Chic-Fil-A Bowl.
Clemson needs only take care of it's end of the bargain and wait and see where the chips fall.
11-1 should get the Orange,10-2 might not.

I do agree with your assessment. It really is in our hands to the point that we must win our games, preferably convincingly, and the decision should be relatively easy for us to be the Orange selection, because FSU won't lose their games. Three more crucial weeks ahead, though. We just need to keep our eyes off the scoreboard and keep out foot on the gas pedal, and do our part. The rest will work out.
