And there it is, the spin. In fact Chris Matthews was correct, the outpouring in IRAN is very similar to how people reacted in this country when Elvis died, the same as in Britain when Princess Di died. But conservative media has spun that into a lie. And you've repeated it.

What Mathews actually said is very clear: "Elvis Presley in our culture. ... It turns out that this general we killed was a beloved hero of the Iranian people to the point where, look at the people, we got pictures up now, these enormous crowds coming out. There's no American emotion in this case, but there's a helll of a lot of emotion on the other side."

The Democrats and the Media have legitimate questions as to why, at this time, Trump chose to assasinate a high ranking member of the Iranian govt. But conservatives are spinning this into "the Democrats love terrorists, the Democrats sympathize with terrorism..etc". It's just blatant lying in order to pursued people to allign with the GOP. They are shameless in their pursuit of power and openly, repeatedly encourage hatred to gain more of it. The Grand Old Party is dead, replaced by a mere shell of it's former, nobler, self.
