There are 3 stars that have a few offers from D1 schools like ncst and md.

And then there are 3 star recruits that are offered by osu, bama, aub, uga, and FSU.

The offers lead me to believe some site is missing the boat.

He's three stars because he hasn't been scouted yet. 3 stars is just the base starting point. He'll get an accurate rating at the end of this season. Accurate for a recruiting site that is.
