Let's clear up Brownell's buyout... from last year

"If Brownell were to be terminated at the end of the upcoming season, the buyout would now be $1.7 million and would shrink to $850,000 if he were terminated prior to April 30, 2019 and $425,000 if terminated prior to April 30, 2020."

This is from two years ago. When his new extension, salary and signing bonus were announced after the Sweet 16 run last year, to my knowledge DRad managed to keep the buyout terms out of the media.

We need one of the few remaining true sports journalists in SC (non-fanboy) to issue a FOIA request for the full terms, including if the buyout was amemded in the most recent contract.

In fairness, the information was correct when it was published. It’s just old has he’s had another contract change since then.
