pre-season game, it appeared to me that there was very little chance of Spiller sticking in KC.
Maybe I just mis-read that.

Spiller's still got it. Historically KC knows how to run the ball, see Priest Holmes, and Jamaal Charles.
Not a fantasy football player, but if I were, this could be the steal of the draft -
Expect CJ to be a Pro-Bowler in KC.

His best year with Buffalo, he had over 1,200 yards and made the Pro-Bowl.
That was under HC Chan Galley, once he left the offense changed.
In typical Buffalo Bills ineptitude, they drafted a guy that should not have been a first round pick. They had Marshawn Lynch already on the roster, and needs in several other areas.
CJ's special talents need to utilized in the proper offense. It seemed like New Orleans would be that fit. I think the injuries doomed that marraige.
I'm hoping he gets the chance to shine in KC.
Get that man the ball in space, and watch the show.

I hope C J will give the blocking for inside running plays a chance to develop before jumping to the outside. He will be very effective if he does.

I took it as CJ already being a pro and knowing what is expected from him, and them not wanting to risk an injury with CJ in a practice game. One in season game with a healthy CJ, is a 1000 times better than risking CJ in a nothing preseason game!!!
