Late start for the NFL looks to be...

showing the true colors of some of these players. They literally can’t stay out of their own way. That’s like 4 separate incidents of felony firearm charges/assaults/etc in a week. Agents/attorneys all swear their clients are innocent, which is actually just pay-offs, fake witnesses/sworn statements, etc.

Personally observed players get assigned body guards (babysitters) to keep them out of trouble. Problem is that you have to be high enough priority (I.e. Dez Bryant) for the team to care.

Kind of sad. Guess it’s the nature of such a brutal sport.

There are 1,696 players in the NFL. How many were busted for something recently? What's the % who are not getting busted?

I don’t know if it’s about the total number of players in the NFL or the increase in the felony arrest rate between the normal return dates and today’s date as compared to years past.

Idle hands? Might have been similar other years too though. Who knows? That said, NFL players get an undeserved bad rap.

Don’t disagree - have plenty of friends in the NFL. Honestly more so suggesting it’s sad that they can’t have the structure they need because of restrictions from the pandemic. Don’t all come from perfect situations (obviously) and need help (structure) to stay above board. More of an observation than anything.
