"Finalist" banner serves as angry reminder of second place

Hanging in Clemson’s indoor practice facility is a banner celebrating Clemson’s spot in the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship, and while Dabo Swinney meant the banner to commemorate his team’s accomplishment, he singlehandedly gave the 2017 team its biggest motivation to finish the task they started the year before. The ACC championship banner needs to include every single year! It does not honor all those earned during Coach Howard's tenure and that does a disservice to his teams! We have a greater legacy in football than just Coach Ford's and the other more recent teams.

that you can't see. Can't put every ACC Championship on one banner and have room for more. Trying to have more current banners that are constantly being added to be closer together.

Really dude, you don't think Dabo Swinney put a banner up honoring all of our Championship teams? I don't know, let's ask David Hood.

us say next year's team doesn't make it to the title game. There will forever be a banner that says 2017 and it looks like the 2017 team made it. Also the 2016 team will be alright because the team before them happened to make it, but the 2015 team looks like it never made it. Good problem to have, but simple problem to solve.
