Exactly. We had been picking up short yardage all game by passing the ball. Then we decide "hey we need 1 yard to win the game, why don't we try what hasn't worked all game" smh

Pittsburgh had been stopping the run all day,if most teams have gotten to where they choose to stack the box and stop the run against Clemson,do what has been working all game long,take what the other team is giving you , When/if the back up to stop the pass, RUN.

Listening to Jeff's presser, it sounds like these young OC's might have realized that.


Though I love TE, he is in charge of running plays and maybe it's his stubborness,along with Dabo that's cause this.

On to Wake Forest.

and Watson to throw it to him. Then I would have told Mike to dodge a few defenders and run it in for a TD to seal the victory. But that's just me. I see things the average fan doesn't.

Maybe someone should go with what's working.

Reminds me of taking Reggie Witherspoon out of the SC game when he was averaging 8 yards a carry to put in a hurt James Davis who averaged 1.5 yards in the game because James had been the go to guy all year.

You knew whom he was taking about at the R. Just like the pass instead of the run. He didn't want too set another passing record. Saving that one for Bama.
