Las Vegas

Dec 11, 2015, 2:02 PM

Thinking about flying in the Friday (Jan.8) before the national championship and then just driving a rental to the game and flying back from Phoenix. Any suggestions on the best place to stay in Vegas? Thanks!

I stayed at the LINQ last March and enjoyed it.

I stayed at Harrah's in August 2014. It was serviceable. The hotel isn't really all that important to me.

I've been to Vegas six or seven times times....

You can't sling a dead chicken in Vegas without hitting a hotel of some kind. There are literally hundreds of options.

If you want to stay on the Strip, my recommendation would be either Bellagio or Wynn.

If you want to stay off the strip, look into the Palms, Green Valley, Planet Hollywood, or Wyndham's Grand Desert

I agree - I've stayed at Bellagio, Wynn and MGM (West Wing).

One recommendation: find Piero's and enjoy an authentic Italian dinner experience. It's off the strip around the corner from the Wynn.
