Largest strike zone in history

Clemson/Duke baseball game yesterday had the largest outside strike zone in baseball history. Our batters were crowding home plate so much that both feet were 1/4 in from being outside the batters box. Then any pitch that crossed the plate on the inside was a ground ball or foul ball. One strike call on a Clemson batter was so bad the Duke fans were laughing at the umpire. This umpire was so bad I actually felt sorry for him.

Nevertheless credit must be given to the Duke pitching.

This was the largest I've ever seen for a MLB game.

Of course the strike zone tends to be larger in college or some of the games could go on forever with the aluminum bats.

The guy's strike zone was awful, and not consistent, but he didn't cheat anybody except both teams' hitters. He was the worst kind of umpire - you didn't know what to swing at and what to take.
