Lamecock Attitude Says it All About Both Programs

They are so excited about their win. Actually had someone tell me it was one of the top 3 SCU games ever. Granted, it was a nail-biter, but to see them SO excited about such a mediocre win just underscores the differences between our programs. We're legitimately excited about beating the top 10 LSU Tigers - the same team that beat USCe - by dominating just about every stat on the books in a key game. And the Shamecocks are equally excited about struggling against a #15 Michigan team that played poorly. To me, that says a lot about where both programs sit. I fully expect to be ranked ahead of these delusional nutheads in the preseason polls and continue our DOMINANCE over our little sisters from the Midlands. GO TIGERS!

Yes they were favored to win, and Michigan is overrated, but I wouldn't exactly call that a mediocre win. Its not like they have that many significant wins in their history so, yeah I could see them saying it was one of their top games ever.
Both teams needed the win to put more context to the season and both got them.

I don't fault them for being excited. back to back 11 wins is something to be happy about. we'll know the feeling too.

A loss to Michigan would have been devastating.

A close Clemson loss to LSU would not have been devastating, especially after Sammy went out.
