LSU coming in uninspired....

is a huge advantage to us...we saw what an uninspired LSU team did against an awful Auburn team. Actually, I think our Defense matches up better with Pro-Style offenses (See VTech every year since Dabo has been here). This is very much a game that Clemson can win..we are in an environment we are familiar with, have won at recently and against a team that prides itself only on defense and not on offense. anyone that doubts that we stand a chance is blind. I'm not saying we are def going to win...but it is def going to be a close game.

I don't know if I agree with the fact that they will come in uninspired.
These guys feel like they got snubbed out of a better bowl and will be looking to make a statement.

We felt like we didn't belong in the Music City bowl against Kentucky after we lost to Scar...look how that turned out. We wanted to make a statement in that game..unfortunately we didn't start playing till the 2nd half...we felt like ocming in we were so much better than UK and we slept walk through the whole first half even when we were the better team...and by the sounds of the quotes coming from LSU..they think they are going to walk right over us...

If anyone has ANY illusions that LSU is vulnerable, I hope you don't bet on it. We're going to do well, but they will be tough.

not because LSU is not into the game but because of match ups. USC started the QB they did because he gave them the best chance too beat Clemson. A team with a down field passing attack gives Clemson a hard time USC didn't have that with Shaw. LSU doesn't have that nor do they have another option at QB.

so are you saying that a back up qb in dylan thompson is better than a starter on a 10-2 team? that doesn't make since. thompson is a back up for a reason.

I would not count on LSU coming in uninspired.
And if you think LSU does not pride itself on offense think again.They may not have much of a passing attack,but they will throw 4 studs RB's at us.If we could not stop a second string QB from putting up big rushing yards,what makes you think we can stop a stable of fresh backs?
I'm not saying we don't stand a chance,or can't win either,but LSU is a better team than the coots,and we will be hard pressed in matching up with them.
Oh,and by the way,LSU is familiar with the Dome as well.I see no advantage there.

If we are trailing at half,you probably won't be needing it anyway.
Not saying we can't score in the 2nd half,but if LSU get's it's ground game going they can wear us down,and keep our offense off the field.
