LSU '19 - BEST EVER? Would CU '18 team beat LSU '19?

It kind of dug in my craw as Trump said today that he "guessed that this LSU team was the BEST EVER?"
Surpassing CU's BEST EVER from last year?
I so wanted Clemson to own that record for at least a few years, but it looks like it was lost in 1 year.
If you stacked last year's Clemson football team against this year's LSU team? Who do you think would win in say a more neutral setting like, Clemson West, aka Glendale, AZ?

LSU 19 generally regarded as one of three best teams of all time...so no, maybe it would be closer though. Remember, LSU could easily have dropped 50 on 19 Clemson.

This year we had no Dline. LSU would not have been able to handle the Power Rangers. Nobody could. Mullen would’ve shut down Chase.

Clemson ‘18 held two teams to 19 points TOTAL. And the last 10 minute mercy drive against Bammer ended the game. So the fact that no one outside of the upstate remembers last year’s FIRST 15-0 team in the modern era is downright appalling.

CU 19 could beat them 50% of the time. If Burrow is off, and Trevor and our receivers are on, we win. Burrow on and Trevor off, you have last week's results.
