I don't hate watching FSU struggle , but I remember games like this during Clemson's past and it is extremely hard on the fans .
Now it's a week of doubt and dread .

than Jimbo. They can't expect to be perfectly humming along in game 1. It was dumb of them to schedule VT right off the bat. Warming up with some cupcakes is the best way with a new regime

I will say that I'm pretty confident that Jimbo would've made some adjustments and gotten the FSU offense moving better and possibly would've won that game, but their OL is still trash and that's a major issue regardless of coach or scheme.

Either way, I think it's ridiculous to condemn a coach after one game. It was an ugly debut to be sure, but it was still just one game.

OTOH i was very, very impressed with Bud Foster and the VT defense. They got absolutely gutted by graduation, early entrants, and off-season injuries and i was expecting a pretty significant drop off for that unit this year. That doesn't seem to be the case at all unless a lack of depth gets them as the season progresses.
